Second Marriage and 9th House....the Original contributor

These days a very small section of astrologer is trying to claim ownership of the concept of the 9th House in a horoscope indicating the 2nd marriage of a person. They are saying that they are the first one to find "evidence" that 9th house is a better indicator of 2nd marriage than the first house.

The original thinker is a different person.

This idea was first given by a Bengal astrologer, named Mr. Parimal Purakayastha in his book of 1956 titled Indian Astrology Sex Marriage and Children, published from Calcutta. It is in this book where he clearly writes in his Preface "But I have found third house of the seventh house more responding in the matters relating to the second partner and third house of ninth house in the matters relating to the third partner"

So, many people have been fooled by these astrologers who have laid claim of this discovery upon themselves in their internet-based magazine. The truth is that it was the astrologer-turned-Sanyasi of Calcutta who discovered this in 1956.

Electronic magazine intimidates authors of JASA

An internet-based magazine has now resorted to intimidation of authors who are writing for JASA. The editor of that internet-based magazine has started misbehaving with authors of JASA, have asked them to discontinue the relationship with JASA and also said that the authors should stop praising JASA.

All these authors have informed me about this misconduct of that editor.

And none of the authors have discontinued JASA and its large family of 16000+ readers across 107+ countries. That editor has underestimated the power of love, truth and knowledge that JASA and its authors provide to the whole world of astrology.

JASA is there for all of you. Come----Join---- and get the respect you deserve.

Change of Job versus Profession: The correct KP Rule

Dear friends,

I have seen so many KP practitioners making the mistake of choosing the wrong main cuspal houses and supporting houses to judge change of job or profession.

The fault is not their own. It is because they have not understood the changes in the Sthaana-Kaala-Patra (context-time-native) of the era. Let me elaborate a little bit on this.

In earlier days (the era of late KSK, CR Bhatt, J Hasbe etc that is during 1960s to 80s), almost all majority of service holders used to stick on to their "kind of job"--profession, even though they 'sometimes'changed their employer. Very seldom, however, they ever changed their line of profession. But some did do it.

It is here that many KP practitioners confuse between the concept of "change of job" versus "change of profession".

Change of job--is about changing one's employer while remaining in the same field/profession. For example a software engineer may change his job (service) from one company to another but still remains a software engineer.

Change of profession--is about not only changing the employer, but also changing the field/profession altogether. For example, a software engineer not only changes his company but joins an educational institute as a faculty/teacher to teach computing language.

We all know that in KP astrology, 6th house is the house of service, supported by house 10 as profession and 11 as regular/monthly income. 2nd house is the house of accumulation of income.

So, for change of job, we will have to consider it as change in service/employer. So the main house should be the 6th cusp (house of service) signifying houses 5th (12th to 6th showing a completely new service environment), 1(disruption in the accumulation of income) and 3 (change).

Whereas, for change of profession/field of working, the person is undergoing a vocational metamorphosis. So, the main house cuspal sublord is 10th (house of profession). This 10th house should signify 9th (12th house to 10th hence showing complete change and new field), 5th (new employer/new service), 1(disruption of income accumulation) and 3 (courage to change)

The reason why people fail in astrology prediction is that they do not know how the real world of their client operates and blindly follows rules from text books while making predictions.

Moon in KP Horary

What is exactly is the role of Moon during the analysis of a KP horary?

This question is raised by almost every one doing a KP horary but hardly people know the inner meaning of the Moon in KP horary.

KP horary can be of 2 types: Time chart horary and Lagna based on 1-249 subs

In both these types the Moon that is obtained on the horoscope at the time of judgment by the astrologer is the Moon that belongs to the client/querist. Not only Moon, all the remaining 8 planets and the 12 houses/bhavas belong to the person who is asking the question.

The Moon is one of the main keys in delineating a Horary chart.

Firstly, Moon's house signification, its starlord and sublord house significations show whether the query asked by the querist is reflected in the chart or not. If  the querist has asked his question with clarity about the matter and has a true intention to know the answer, then the Moon of the horary always shows the "mind of the querist".

Secondly, Moon of the horary gives the DBA of the chart. If Moon herself is reflecting the required houses, then it need not necessarily mean that the result will be obtained soon because Moon herself does not form the Dasa. Moon's star lord, if reflects the query, then it shows that the result "may materialize" in the running Dasa. With the sub lord of Moon also reflecting the required houses, it means that not only in the running Dasa, but also in the current bhukti the result "may materialize".

I say "may materialise" because Moon's reflection of the query is no guarantee that the result will actually happen.

This is because, for something to happen (or not happen) it is the main house cusp sublord that muct be linked (or not linked) with the secondary houses. Only if there is promise of the matter asked AND ALSO the Dasa-Bhukti matches, then only the matter materializes.

So, Moon's reflection of query at the star level and sub level has deeper significance than at Moon's own level.

Thirdly, in a KP number horary, the number fixes the Lagna and keeps it there. So the fastest dynamic planet is Moon in the horary and it has certain other dimensions that I cannot just reveal in the public.

I will discuss on this matter at length when my Horary Video course will be launched.

Essential Steps in Doing KP Horary

Doing horary astrology with the Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) by using 1-249 number system or the time chart is one of the easiest methods of horary astrology. A careful study of the 1970 edition of the 6th KP Reader by late KSK will show that following easy steps are to be taken.

1. Ask the number from the querent between 1-249 after stating the question clearly.

2. Cast the Placidus horoscope with the given number with KP New Ayanamsa. This can be done with any standard software and the best ones are Jyotish Deepika v 5 and KP Starone.

3. Once the horary chart is casted, see whether the Moon and its star lord and sublord is the occupant and/or owner of the required houses of the matter under enquiry. If the houses are reflected through horary Moon, it shows that the querist has a true urge and has not come to test the knowledge of the astrologer or does not have an unspoken question.

4. Next look at the main cuspal sublord of the matter enquired. If the question is about child birth, then look at the 5th cusp for female querents and 11th cusp for male querents. The main cuspal sublord should be the significator of the required houses.

5. Almost in all horary questions, the 11th cuspal sublord should be reflecting the required houses.

6. Next the Dasa-Bhukti must be checked. As Moon in a horary chart shows the Dasa-Bhukti through its star and sublord, Moon's reflection of the query also means that the result will materialize soon. This is of course dependent on the overall Ruling Planet positions and the transit.

7. Check the transits of the DBA and check whether the DBA will yield result or not.

K. S. Krishnamurti, Litigation and JASA

Barack Obama is back as the re-elected President of America few days back defeating the Republican candidate Mr. Mitt Romney.

Correct prediction was made in this regard by Col. A.K. Gour through the birth chart of Obama and Romney. And he did not do any unnecessary BTR nor did he applied any self-made rules of interpretation. In KP method, Sri Madhu Nair and Sri M.K. Vishwanath made correct predition and they too used K.S. Krishnamurti's rules of prediction about winning in election.

I personally Congratulate these gentlemen in keeping the flag of astrology high.

Unfortunately, in some other places some persons have used their own BTR rules and own KP rules and made a completely wrong analysis and wrong prediction. There is nothing wrong in making a wrong prediction, but the way how BTR was done suo moto and KP rules were twisted, is what makes our eyebrows rise. Was this really necessary?

In this regard, I have provided the original article of K.S. Krishnamurti of April 1965 issue of Astrology and Athristha in the Nov-Dec 2012 issue of the international journal "Journal for Advancement of Stellar Astrology".

Hope all of you will like it and like election rule, you will also know the real and correct KP method of analyzing Litigation results.
